June 26 - Branson, Missouri
Known as the “Live Music Show Capital of the World,” The Yes I Can! team arrived at the Radisson-Branson, MO. Nestled in the lakeside beauty of the Ozark Mountains, Branson is truly a one-of-a-kind family vacation destination with more than 50 live performance theaters.

Over 80 employees from the Radisson Hotel Branson marched into the Yes I Can! Employee Rally led by a four-piece brass band playing “76 Trombones”. The song from the musical, Music Man is in keeping with the vibrant entertainment scene popular with guests traveling to Branson. There was a high level of excitement as the employees entered the ballroom and were served cake and hand dipped ice cream.

General Manger, Jay Campbell kicked off the rally remarking that Radisson’s Yes I Can! culture is truly unique in the hospitality industry. Jay reminded each and every one sitting in the room that they contribute to that culture on a daily basis.
As the rally progressed there was a high level of engagement from the employees. When Julie Wiersma, Yes I Can Ambassador, asked for Yes I Can! stories, several employees enthusiastically shared accounts of how they had surprised and delighted guests. There was a strong sense of team as employees recognized great Yes I Can! service performed by their co-workers.

The Rally wrapped up with special recognition for Kevin Cole, the hotel bellman, for his Yes I Can! actions. One Sunday afternoon a couple came in to check out the ballroom space as a potential site for their event. Knowing that the sales team was not available on Sunday, Kevin overheard their request and immediately took action to show the prospective clients the meeting spaces, Ballroom and sleeping rooms. During the tour, Kevin impressed the clients with his attention to detail and true hospitality spirit. The clients liked what they saw and as a result a large piece of business was booked by the hotel.
